[Audio Chat] In Reply to: Former Larry Fast signee releases 2 new discs.

Hey Progers,

Like moi, a lot of you grew up with Deep Purple,

Iron Butterfly, Yes, Genesis, Rush... then: Single

Gun Theory, Radio Head & Porcupine Tree. All really,

really great bands, but it's time to leap into the

next dimension of music isn't it?

If your into progressive stuff you HAVE to hear

Bartz' music.

Want to be floored by: Beauty, Power, Imaginaton? Buy

Pictures or Earth & Space,

Want to be tranquilized by esoteric beauty? Buy

Evolver!

Gentlemen, I assume you are seekers of fine music,

as such, you will thank god above for such

incredible music as has been provided to us by

Bartz. Acquire his discs now and MARVEL!

If the creation of the Universe had a sound track,

surely it would be Bartz's mind blowing debut

titled: Pictures of Earth & Space.

The Incredible Sound of Creation Is what you will hear

from Bartz, an artist who

has pioneered an entirely new form of music. These

soundscapes are completely unfettered by the

structure of music as we have heard it to date.

Instead what you hear is an endlessly evolving

series of exciting, beautiful, exotic sounds that

evoke visions of stars going nova, spiral galaxies

spinning slowly & gracefully in space and astral

beings flowing toward the Great Light.

The latest release, Evolver is as ethereal as

P.O.E.A.S. but much more serene; and I fully expect to

experience this type of audio beauty when I pass on

to the next plane of existence.

This in NOT synthesized music! Bartz is a famous

studio engineer who uses the studio as his

instrument. He has also created a miraculous new

instrument called the String Station with which he

can produce any sound his fertile imagination

desires.

If you want to come into contact with the REAL

progressive sound of the day then go to:

If you do, you'll enter the next dimension of sound.

Definitely start with Pictures of Earth and Space

also known as P.O.E.A.S. A sonic marvel of unique

sounds that flow together to create incredible power

and beauty.

If you're as floored by P.O.E.A.S. as I was then get

Evolver, Bartz' latest release created with an

instrument of his own design called the String

Station. Bartz is a technical wizard who really

knows how to harnesses a digital recording studio

and with it create music of immense majesty. To my

ears it is the sound of Creation.

Also note, these albums are technically superb and

will exploit the full capabilities of any high

fidelity play-back system.

Enjoy this wonderous music!

"Soundtrack to your first trip on a spaceship (heres to you Captain

Beyond)"

A few years from now NASA should be offering to the common men

the opportunity to travel through the sideral space on some

commercial spaceship, and for that BARTZ would be the obvious

choice for the soundtrack (at least one of them).

Recently I've had the chance to listen to Bartzs POEAS (thanks

again Captain Beyond!) and really get impressed, however, I must

confess, I never was a true fan of electronic music.

BARTZ music is electronic, no doubt, but has something different

to it that makes his electronic based songs shows the "feeling"

beyond the technological process, which, as far as my Electronic

Music knowledge goes, is very uncommon in that kind of music

field. Let's say that it is a perfect mix between a sci-fi and a

romantic movie soundtrack. The musics are "soft and sweet" and

don't have that annoying metallic beat of EM.

The list of high-tech instruments used is impressive. All fitting

together perfectly well into the songs.

BTW, the songs are multi-layered with many details that makes it

perfect to be listened with headphones. I did it late at night,

in the darkness, with nothing to distract me from the music, and

loved the experience.

Considering the usual standard pattern of EM, the songs are not

to long (3 to 6 minutes), what helped me not to feel bored with

it, as I usually fell with the long and repetitive rhythm of EM.

To all progheads and new music adepts on this board BARTZs POEAS

is very very recommendable. But don't go listen to it expecting

to hear some Tangerine Dream or Kraftwerk clone. It's different.

And don't go listen to it thinking about electronic dance music

or trance or whatever this type of music is called these days.

It's different. And it's good.

Regards,

Wladimir
